I found an error while playing iislands of war V8.11. The things I got when I opened the item interface will no longer exist. I can't enter the next level because of this error.I have defeated all the enemies in the map, but the key no longer exists, because I get the key while opening the item interface.
Hey jwiggs, i really enjoy your game but the exploration update just feel a bit off so i wanted to re-download v5.0 but can't seem to find the windows file, it doesn't exist anymore?
Sorry that the phrasing of the HTML5 game leads to confusion. You need to go an manually download the game from the links. The browser game is just something to do after you have started the download.
Is the game really endless (after winning boss on realm 8 you are being teleportated to the realm 8 again, what I could see in \AppData\Local\IIslandsOfWar\save_8\realm.txt), or it is something like Mr. Resetti for those, who saves progress?;)
I really like the game but can you make it harder or add a hard mode please? The game is too easy. I can tell because I already wanted to get to the final boss and I was on realm 2.
The game shouldn't take long to load at all, unless you are waiting around for the web version. The web version is simply a fun little thing to play around with, and will not load the actual game.
Unfortunately, that isn't possible. The game already experiences lag when playing a native executable, so the performance on a browser would be significantly worse. In addition, the compiler for the browser will cause the game to behave very differently than to the native applications. Also touch support and screen resizing would become issues, and with the launch of Steam, these would just be distractions.
The new v.8.0 is an outstanding upgrade that actually feels fresh and incredible to play. For someone like me that have been playing since 1.0 i love to see the game in its full release. Well done and ill report any bug i see.

Yes there is a reason the game is ia pkg and not a dmg. I haven’t figured out why, but Gamemaker games that get put into a dmg just dont work anymore. An “unable to find game” error shows up and crashes the game on start up. So after a long while I figured that packages dont have the same effect and so that what I’m doing.

I am terribly sorry that the Exploration Update has taken so long, yes it has been 8 months. Currently I am working on the 3rd iteration of the update, since I was not satisfied at all with the design of the first two and let to unfun gameplay experiences.
I am nearing the end of the update, and there are just a few final things and a lot of bug fixes that need to be implemented. I have set a deadline for myself to better help me so I don't drag out this update any longer, and the Exploration Update will be releasing before the end of the month.
Hi, I just finished your game one second play, first time die at boss from realm 3 but second time didnt lose any warp (life). Here is my toughs about your game.
-Rockets... they are too powerfull, 4x rocket = 4x4x12 dmg...
- There is cheesing on bosses... just fly down or high all time left or right and shoot to boss, he will chase you and collect all bullets from you
-Forge is stupid one... I have to delete all blocks becasue without thuster island can't float and can't upgrade this...
-Shops are usless, only thing i was using in them is simple more float power
-I dont know plants/snowman/bushes works
-Some tech can destroy game becase they dont have info how they work (laser for autoshoting, planted it on rocker 975m range and boom! 350m!)
-Easy way to kill 70% of ! and !! is bulid one thorn on bottom and simple jump on them, while your blocks are destorying you deal tons of dmg
-Power weapons, how they work?
Don't worry, game was pretty amazing, spend 4 hours in it, but after dreadnough what im supposed to do?
so yeah I'm bad at grammar so here is what I mean. lets say you have a lot of items. for example you have 20 ternion and 20 barrel extenders I want to be able to fuse them together without having to repeat fusing the same tech to the same item over 20 times.

I gotta ask another thing:
I collect rocket mounts. and I collected some "tech" type items which like increase health by 20% or such..
how are both of these things used?
I cant seem to place them anywhere , by it on blocks or not.
Its okey! The reason it was implemented is because people were accidentally wiping their progress by clicking new game.
As for the tech, use the forge. Put the tech in the top slots and the item in the bottom.

The game shouldn't take long to load at all, unless you are waiting around for the web version. The web version is simply a fun little thing to play around with, and will not load the actual game.

I tried to kill myself in tutorial (just for fun), and something bad happened: my save disappeared. I can just start a new game.

There isn't any way to speed up this process, you're gonna need to repeat the process 20 times.
